Kumusta!
I got the chance to go to the temple this week because it's right across the street from the MTC. It was such a great experience. The temple is so different here. It's a lot smaller but the same spirit comes in during the session. I'm super grateful that I can go do endowments at the temple. I love it and I can't wait to go more!
One of the days my district did a group fast to help us learn the language better, which was kinda cool but it was hard. I know the blessings will come for all of us soon enough. I'm sorta picking up on Tagalog. It's still pretty hard haha. It's pretty tough for everyone but we're getting there.
We've been just working on the language the last couple days but one day we took a break and practiced sharing a message/ scripture, and I found a scripture that was awesome it's Alma 29:9. I won't write it all out but it talks about how we are instruments in God's hands and I love that. Heavenly Father needs to use us as instruments to make a beautiful symphony by spreading His gospel to all His children.
As a missionary I need to be willing to let Heavenly Father guide me to preach the gospel, and bring others unto Christ.
On Sunday during the second hour we had a lesson about "The Plan of Salvation." It was great. The whole lesson was getting taught through the Spirit.
All the comments made all the Elders in the room think about our families. I loved it so much. We all were crying by the end, and realized how grateful we are for The Plan of Salvation that we can be with our families forever.

I'm so grateful I'm a missionary even though I miss everyone at home. I know Heavenly Father wants me to be serving Him and I'm excited to learn more and grow closer to the Lord.
Love you guys and know I'm keeping you all in my prayers.
