Yesterday Clark was able to receive the Aaronic Priesthood after sacrament meeting. That was awesome to witness.
The other Elders in our ward (Elder Larson and Elder Torres) had a baptism on Saturday. The person who was baptized is named Loyda. Loyda is such a good example to me. She actually doesn't have any arms and only has one leg.
While I've been here I've seen her come to church and make friends here in our ward. She is a huge example to me that even if we have trials in our lives we can overcome anything if we continue to follow Christ.
One more amazing thing happened yesterday at church. When Elder Nimenzo was here in November, we went to this one compound that has a ton of families that are less active in the church. So we continued to visit with them but they really didn't change.
Lately we've been teaching one of the families there and they came back to church for the last month or so. Yesterday, all of them came with all of their kids! It was amazing to see the change that people can have and the effect others can have on each other.
I love it here and I'm so grateful for all my experiences.
Love you all!
